How to Read the DOS GOLD Dashboard
The DOS GOLD dashboard puts the most useful gold-trading information on one screen. Here is what each part shows and how to use it.
Top bar
The top bar shows the number of orders per minute, how many ounces were bought and sold in the last 5 minutes, open interest, 24-hour volume, and the current time in Kuwait. A sudden spike in orders per minute often comes just before or during a big move.
XAUUSD spot gold
The big number is the live spot gold price. It flashes green when the price ticks up and red when it ticks down. The bar underneath shows where the price sits between today's low and high. Near the top of the range means buyers are in control for the day.
COMEX gold GC
Shows the New York futures price, its high/low and volume, and the premium over spot. See Spot vs COMEX for what that premium means.
Buyers vs sellers
This bar splits the last 5 minutes of traded volume into buying and selling. If buyers keep winning the bar while the price stalls, sellers may be absorbing the buying, which is worth noticing.
Order book
The order book lists waiting buy orders (bids) and sell orders (asks) in ounces. Large walls of orders at one price can act like a floor or a ceiling. Read more in Reading the Order Book.
Live orders map
Each dot on the world map is a trade as it happens: green for buys, red for sells, and bigger rings for orders of 10 ounces or more. The locations are illustrative. The value is in seeing the pace and size of the flow.
Market sessions
Shows which markets are open right now, in Kuwait time. Gold moves most when London and New York overlap. See Gold Trading Sessions in Kuwait Time.
Dos Trigger signals
The signal box shows the latest Dos Trigger alert from the 5-minute chart: direction, entry, stop loss and up to three take-profit levels. See Dos Trigger Signals Explained.
News
English and Arabic headlines, with a Kuwait focus option. Big headlines are often the reason behind sudden spikes on the price panel.
